At McCracken’s, our pool is designed and constructed specifically for the young beginning swimmer. Our pool is 20' by 40' and has a shallow 3' shelf around the entire perimeter which allows instructors and students to move comfortably without fear “of the deep end”. A gradual slope takes the bottom to only 46" at the center of the pool.
With four sets of steps to seat classes, water heated to 90 degrees throughout the summer, pool-side bathroom facilities, and spacious  surroundings, we believe we have the ideal teaching environment.
Parents have bleachers within feet of the pool to observe. In addition, there is a covered shelter area for sun or rain protection.
We encourage parental observation, so bring your lawn chairs or a picnic blanket!
