Fundraisers:

  • Candle sales: The booster club will be selling Gold Canyon candles.  Sales will begin in November in time to have a delivery date before Christmas.  These candles make great gifts.  Be on the lookout for more information at the end of October.  Susie Morton is in charge of this fundraiser.
  • Emch Fundraiser (pastries & cookies):  The booster club will be selling these items in the spring in time for a pre-Easter delivery date.
  • Fall Flower Sales: Pickup for flower sales is September 18th between 3:30 – 4:30 at Diana Sagar’s house.
  • Little Caesar’s Pizzas:  Sales will begin November 1st.  The delivery date for the pizzas is Thursday, December 13th.
  • Seat Cushions:  The booster club is checking into the possibility of selling bleacher seat cushions at the concession stand at McCracken’s home meets.  Proceeds from this fundraiser would benefit the general fund.
  • Pumpkin Patch Workday:  There is one more pumpkin patch workday opportunity.  The workday is Friday, September 14th beginning at 9 am.  See the signup sheet at the gym.
Pumpkin Patch:  Don’t forget, if you are signed up to work at the pumpkin patch, you must show up or find a replacement!!!

2007/2008 Competition Season Well
the kids have been working really hard all summer to get their skills to compete in the upcoming competition season.  It is hard to believe that it is almost here!!!  With the new season upon us, there are several items that need to be addressed:
  • Buyouts vs Volunteer:  Once the booster club officers obtain information regarding competition sites and numbers of competitors in each level then the buyout amounts can be determined.
  • Home Meets:  There will be 5 home meets this season.  Concession stands at these home meets are a major source of revenue for the booster club.  Booster Club sponsors listed at the beginning of this newsletter manage these concession stands.  Assignments are as follows:

* Pumpkin Classic: boys’ sponsors
*
Fall Fiesta: Level 6 girl’s sponsor
* St. Nick coed: Level 4 girls’ sponsors
*Guaranteed Foods: Level 5 girls’ sponsors
*March Madness: Levels 7-10 girls’ sponsors
