Meeting Minutes Booster Club Meeting
Fundraising:
The Kick-off-to-a-new-season hotdog dinner:
W
will take place the Monday after the first meet in October. The first meet will be on October 25th
Little Caesar’s Pizza:
Sales will begin November 1st. The delivery date for the pizzas is Thursday, December 11th.
Professional and College Team Sports Cups:
The booster club will be selling these cups in October. The cups come in a set of 4 and will sell for $12. Each set of cups generates a $4 total profit, 15% of which goes to the general account. They will make a great Christmas present. Be on the lookout for further information.
Trash bags:
Selling trash bags as a fundraiser will take place around January or February.
Buyout vs. Volunteer Options:
We are still missing the buyout/volunteer option letter from a handful of gymnasts’ families. Please turn these along with your check for either the buyout or base fee as soon as possible.
Home Meets:
There will be 6 home meets this season. Concession stands at these home meets are a major source of revenue for the booster club. Booster Club sponsors listed at the beginning of this newsletter manage these concession stands. Groups that are assigned to a home meet will be the same group that will be responsible for bringing baked goods, whether signed up as volunteer or buyout. All boys’ parents are responsible for bringing baked goods for the Pumpkin Classic meet. All volunteer parents are required to work at every home meet.
Concession Stand Policies:
Please adhere to these policies when working the booster club concession stand: no children behind the tables; please do not sign up for a shift when your son or daughter competes or receives awards; must be 14 or older to work concession stand; only workers behind tables. Those volunteers who work the closing session, please make sure to not put away food items that will expire before the next meet.
Gym Set-up and Take-down for meets:
Volunteers will be needed to help move pbars before and after meets. Also volunteers are requested to help put the gym back together and general cleanup after the meets are over. Since the boys’ parents sponsors are responsible for the Pumpkin Classic meet, the boys’ parents will be responsible for gym set-up and take-down for the upcoming meet on October 25th.
Boys State Meet:
McCracken’s will be hosting the Boy’s state meet this year on March 22nd. The booster club will be designing t-shirts for this meet. We would like to involve the gymnasts in this process so we will be holding a contest. Be on the lookout for further information.
Email Correspondence:

Next Booster Club Meeting:
The next booster club meeting will be held on Thursday, November 13th at 6:30 in the party room.
