Bikeride Across Kansas (BAK) Pie Sales:
We are learning how to make the most of this fundraiser. We did better this year than last year and hope to do even better next year. We generated $740 in the sale of 25 pies and some other miscellaneous items. If every family had donated a pie, the booster club could easily have generated $2,000. There were over 800 bikers and they all wanted a slice of pie. Next year, every family will be required to sign up to donate a pie. Also next year we will be asking for two more volunteers to help sell pies to the bikers.

Upcoming Fundraisers:
Garage Sale: Will be held June 28-30 in the Prince of Peace Catholic Church basement. Everyone will be responsible for marking their own items. You must work the garage sale in order for the proceeds from the sale of your items to go into your individual account. 75% will go to your individual account and 25% will go to the general fund. Sign-up sheets have been posted on the bulletin board.

Car Wash:
The Booster Club will again be having a car wash to raise money for the general account. The car wash will take place on Saturday, July 7th in the Burger King parking lot in front of Kmart. Be on the lookout for the sign-up sheet. Everyone must help with this fundraiser. Parents, for safety reasons, please do not just drop off your kids, you also must be in attendance.

Outside Fundraiser Coordinator:
Diana Sagar has volunteered to be the Outside Fundraiser Coordinator. This position is responsible for coordinating volunteer work at places such as the T-Bones. A binder which includes sign-ups is located on the front counter. Please wear black pants, white shirts and closed-toe shoes to work these events. (T-bones will allow you to wear khaki shorts as well; others require pants) If you sign up to work these events you must show up to work. If you do not we will have to pay a penalty. If you sign up and cancel more than one time, you will no longer be allowed to participate in this fundraiser.

Little Caesar's Pizza:
Sales will begin November 1st. The delivery date for the pizzas is Thursday, December 13th.

Pumpkin Patch and Fall Flower Sales Fundraisers:
Watch the newsletter for further information as it becomes available.

Booster Club Website:
McCracken's Gym is in the process of setting up a website. The booster club will be allowed to set up a link from this site.

Treasurer's Report:
Last year $15,000 was budgeted for coaches' expenses. $16,000 was actually spent. This was mostly due to meets that were not originally budgeted for.

New Parents' Orientation Meetings:
Dates have been set for new booster club parents' orientation meetings. If your child will begin competing next year or if your child is new to the McCracken's competitive team next year, please plan on attending one of the Orientation Meetings. Dates are as follows: Monday, June 25th, Thursday, July 19th and Thursday, August 2nd.

Booster Club Parent's Handbook:
The Handbook will be revised this summer. The Booster Club will be reviewing the handbook on July 19th. A copy should have been emailed to everyone on the email list. Please send Nancy an email if you did not receive one and would like a copy.
