Fundraisers:

  • Candle sales: The combined booster club profit from the Gold Canyon candles fundraiser was around $xxxx, with only $xx going to the general account and the remaining monies going to individual accounts. This was due to a freight charge that was not expected .


  • Little Caesar’s Pizza: The combined booster club profit from the Little Caesar’s Pizza fundraiser was $xxxx of which $xxx will be deposited into the general fund and the remaining $xxxx into individual accounts. Great job guys!

Upcoming Fundraisers:

  • Trash bag sales will begin in January. You should have received your flyer (1/2 sheet) already from the gymnasts. Diana Sagar will be the contact person.

Be on the look out for the upcoming Butter Braids sale (for prior to Easter delivery).

Bumper Stickers:

  • The booster club will again be selling McCracken’s bumper stickers. The flyer will be attached to your paper copy sent home with your child.

  • Sprint Center Big 12 Weekend (Mar 15) pays a minimum of $55.00. Sign up to work in the binder on the counter at the gym!

Outside Fundraising Coordinator Position has been revised. Brian Wendland is the contact person for outside fundraising such as Tbones, Chiefs and Sprint Center. Diana Sagar is the contact person for many of the fundraising opportunities such as selling flowers, cookie dough and trash bags.


2007/2008 Competition Season

The next home meet will be the Guaranteed Foods Meet. Girls’ Level 5 families, whether buyout or volunteer option, are scheduled to bring baked goods to this meet. Please, bring 1 dozen baked goods items, packaged in portions to sell for $0.50. Level 5 sponsors will manage this meet.

Concession Stand Policies: Please adhere to these policies when working the booster club concession stand: no children in the kitchen area; please do not sign up for a shift when your son or daughter competes or receives awards; must be 14 or older to work concession stand; only workers go beyond the door. Check expiration dates on all items. Those that are working the last shift of a meet need to fill out the inventory sheet.

Gym Set-up and Take-down for meets: Volunteers will be needed to help move pbars before and after meets. Also volunteers are requested to help put the gym back together and general cleanup after the meets are over. This is our obligation to the gym for allowing us to have a concession stand and earn money. It really is a good time and usually we are done quickly. Please help us with this. This does not fulfill your volunteer responsibilities if you have chosen the volunteer option.
